Nevada’s Legend Bay Casino Finally Opens To The Public On 30th August

Olympia Gaming is behind the new casino at Legends Bay. It opened Casino Fandango in Carson City in 2003. It is owned by Olympia Companies, which also developed the Las Vegas master-planned communities of Southern Highlands and Skye Canyon.

The casino’s development was often delayed due to the Great Recession and the COVID-19 pandemic. On the contrary, Legends Bay’s official groundbreaking occurred on March 31, 2021.

The 80,000-square-foot casino and dining venue at The Outlets at Legends will welcome guests with a party that will continue on September 2 with a free fireworks display.

The Casino

As Tuesday’s grand opening approached, the atmosphere was electrifying. Technicians are making the last adjustments to several gambling machines. Future waiters and waitresses huddled together to examine menus while bartenders and mixologists sampled various drinks to determine the best ones.

The casino project was conceived 15 years ago, but the building was put on hold due to the Great Recession. During that period, Olympia Gaming constructed two hotels with no gaming affiliations: the Residence Inn and the Hampton Inn. However, the company’s ambitions to build a casino remained unchanged.

More than 650 slot machines and video poker games, 10 Live Table games, five blackjack tables, craps, roulette, three card poker, Pai Gow poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, and Live Keno will be available on the casino floor.

What about the tables in the casino’s restaurant? These are precisely 28 inches above the floor, the ideal height for the 18-inch-tall chairs. According to the regional president of Olympia Gaming, the combination is the “sweet spot” that makes many people satisfied.

The expansive gaming area at Legends Bay Casino will feature the newest slot machines and video poker machines. In addition, it will have its own rewards program, LB Rewards. There will also be a high-limit room and the region’s only Circa Sports sportsbook.

Circa Sports’s sports betting brand has undergone intriguing modifications in the past several months. The company gained prominence in its home market of Nevada by operating “the world’s largest sportsbook” at its flagship property, the Circa Resort & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas. With its new market offerings, the business rapidly expands in the retail and mobile sectors.

Predictions indicate that the $120 million casino will attract approximately 12 million visitors annually. This number does not account for those who visit Olympia’s Fandango Casino in Carson, which is also anticipated to increase the number of visitors to Legends Bay.

Legends Bay Casino Will Live To Its Hype

“It’s an honor and a privilege for us to launch the first new casino in Northern Nevada in a very long time,” said Garry Goett, chairman and chief executive officer of Olympia Companies.

“We’re thrilled to finally be able to share this project with the community after working on it for several years. From our one-of-a-kind restaurants to the world’s first Circa Sports Sportsbook, we developed Legends Bay Casino, the ideal venue to play games, dine, and watch sports.” Goett added.

Corporate representatives had this to say concerning the new Sparks casino; “They considered the comfort of their clients by providing them with ergonomic chairs and bright, pleasant lighting. Additionally, the casino has more space between the machines, arranged in pods, high ceilings for a clear view, and a ventilation system that provides fresh air every five minutes.”

“Our level of excitement is relatively high. This is the first time we’ve ever constructed a legitimate sportsbook, so it provides us access to an entirely new market.” Derek Stevens, the CEO of Circa Sports, discusses the sportsbook at the Legends Bay Casino in an exclusive video interview. This is an excellent opportunity for us to try something fresh.”

The CEO also discusses the prospects offered by the Iowa market and Circa’s plans for the internet betting sector. Stevens also discusses the brand’s intentions for the football season, including its largest pro football betting tournaments.
