World Match is an Italian company which is active in the gambling niche since the year of its birth, back in 2000. They currently offer a large collection of casino games, with about 80% of it being slot machines. The Italian and the Spanish markets appear to be the ones where they’ve expanded most, but they are available at an international level and other operators are also relying on them to provide them with games. These days, they’re only using HTML5 for their games, and the older titles have all been ported to this new technology. As such, all their 200+ games are available for mobile players as well.
WM Cloud Gaming Center: this is the name of their software platform, used by operators to gain access to the company’s 200+ casino games and to the business management tools that any gaming site in this niche would need.
WM Casino Games Suite: this is the name of their casino games collection. As I’ve mentioned before, 200+ titles are available in it, and most if not all of them are at HD quality.
History of World Match
World Match was established back in 2000. The company obtained a Class 4 license from Malta’s Gaming Authority, or MGA, in 2003. They aimed to distribute their collection of Flash-based slot machines internationally with it. Those Flash games would come a year later, as in 2004 they’ve launched multiple slot machines using this technology.
Another major milestone in their history came in 2011, when they released a large number of video poker and table games titles, aimed at Italy’s casino market. These were at HD quality already.
A year later, in 2012, Italy liberalized the online slot machine market, and so World Match created the first group of such games for that country. Also for Italy, they released several mobile-first casino games in 2013, available for Android and iOS.
By 2016, they already had all their old games ported to the HTML5 technology, giving up on Flash, which is no longer a popular choice.
Since 2017, when they obtained their certification from the Spanish DGOJ, they are also present in that market with their casino games.
Some of their more recent accomplishments include the launching of multiple interesting slot machines, new partnerships signed with the likes of Octavian Gaming Solutions, but also their presence at iGB Live.
World Match is a major operator, if we look at the number of casino games alone. They have more than 200 casino games which they’ve released over the years, and which were upgraded to HTML5 and HD quality in recent years. Out of those, we know that they have 160 slots and 30 table games, plus all types of Video Poker that you could expect. These are games which they make available for desktops and mobile devices.
I enjoyed the wide variety of stories which they’re telling through their slot machines, and they range from Ancient Rome gladiators, to Vikings, Eskimos, fantasy, farm life and everything else you could imagine. There are even some funny games, one great example being Monkeys vs Sharks, incidentally also one of their best paying games in terms of RTP.
The features I’ve discovered in their games have been regular ones mostly, mixing in free spins, bonus games, wilds, multipliers and scatters, in different configurations. I haven’t seen a lot of innovation in this one area.
You will get games with all types of volatility, ranging from low to high. The RTP can be very good, but there is usually a range within which it will fall. Make sure you do everything in your power to get the higher RTP, so pay attention to the features and choices that you get.
World Match is making it easy for us, and they actually have a list of popular games of theirs. The top three titles they mention are Book of Pharaon, Fruits Evolution and Banana King. If we look at the slots which are getting more attention from casinos, being promoted on the front page, then we have Xcalibur, The Pinguizz and Need for Spin at the top.
Highest RTP Games
The RTP in a lot of the slots I’ve seen World Match present is mentioned as a range. For a game like Fruits Evolution, that range starts from as little as 91.43%, but on the other hand it can reach 98.1%. Some of the other slots which mention high potential RTPs include the likes of Monkeys vs Sharks, Maximum, Touch Down and Magic Quest, all four being mentioned with a maximum of 98.48%.
